Blackberry Gin Sloshie

 

 
Flapper Gin ~ American Craft Gin

ingredients

* 2 oz. bubble water
* 3/4 cup frozen blackberries
* 2 oz. ginger mint simple syrup (recipe below)
* 4 oz. gin
Ice as needed.
* Optional blackberries & mint garnish

To create:

1. In the blender, combine the bubble water, frozen blackberries, ginger mint simple syrup, and gin. Add ice as needed to reach a frozen state.
2. Blend until smooth and a slushy consistency.
3. Garnish if desired and serve immediately
Makes two scrumptious frozen cocktails!

Mint Simple Syrup

* 1/2 cup water
* 1/2 cup granulated sugar
* 2 Ginger medallions
* 1 sprig mint (about 10 mint leaves)

Ginger Mint Simple Syrup

1. In a saucepan over high heat, pour in the water. Add the granulated sugar and sprig of mint & ginger medallion
2. Bring the water to a simmer, stirring constantly until the sugar has dissolved.
3. Take off the heat, and bring to room temperature.
4. Strain through fine mesh or cheesecloth to remove the mint & ginger.
5. Store in the refrigerator in a jar until use.
